After the legal issues, Mason Greenwood has left Manchester United and joined the English club Getafe. The question on everyone’s mind is whether the English forward will be featured in the EA Sports FC 24 football simulator.
Electronic Arts, through a spokesperson, released a statement to the Mirror, stating that Mason Greenwood will be included in the official roster but will only be available in the Ultimate Team mode after the launch because technical constraints did not allow for timely database updates.
“EA Sports FC 24 authentically reflects the rosters of all football teams and clubs worldwide. Since Mason Greenwood has been signed by Getafe, he will be included in the official roster of EA Sports FC 24. However, since Mason Greenwood was not part of a roster at the time of our final data deadlines for teams and players, he will not be included in the Ultimate Team mode at launch.”
It’s worth noting that the English forward had been accused of abuse by his girlfriend, Harriet Robinson, and spent some time in jail during the police investigations. Subsequently, all charges were dropped, and the player was declared innocent. Nevertheless, Manchester United decided that Mason Greenwood could no longer be part of the club and mutually terminated his contract.
