After testing the Nacon Revolution Unlimited we also got to try the new Nacon Asymmetric Wireless Controller pad.
The Nacon Asymmetric Wireless Controller is also compatible with both PC and PS4. Unlike the top, the package, although more spartan, is complete with everything you need.
Inside the package we find the pad, a USB cable and Bluetooth USB receiver to connect the pad to the console via wireless (Up to 7 meters).
The perception of pad in hand immediately suggests that the quality of the materials used to produce it is above average. In the back we have soft-touch materials that improve grip and make it much more pleasant to the touch.
Nacon Asymmetric Wireless Controller comes with two asymmetric analog sticks which represent the most important difference compared to the classic Dualshock Pad. Of course there are also the cross, the 4 buttons that recall the PS4 graphics, designer always Playstation center button, the two Share and Option bottoms, and finally a small central LED that flashes when the battery is running low.
During the first few hours of play, if you have always used the official pad of the PS4, you will have mixed feelings because of the asymmetric analogue but once accustomed to the new ergonomics feelings are only positive. In the front we find the 4 dorsal Bottoms characterized by an optimal surface that gives a more fluid and decidedly different ergonomics from that of the Dualshock that is normally associated with the Playstation 4, above all thanks to the wide surface of the lower triggers that guarantee a brillant grip.

The Nacon Asymmetric Wireless Controller has fully met our expectations, the pad does not excessively stress the joints of the hands due to its ergonomics and above all it does not weigh down the wrists, this guarantees play sessions of several hours.
The response to the commands is precise and immediate although the pad is connected via Wireless, the sensitivity of the analogs is optimal and guarantees sudden changes of direction and angles that normally we would not be able to have with the Dualshock 4. We also found a greater success of the different skills that FIFA 19 makes available to us.
The battery life is excellent, the LED on the pad began to flash after almost 8 hours of use which is almost impossible with the Dualshock which on average has an autonomy of about 4-5 hours.
Unfortunately, like the Nacon Revolution Unlimited, the Nacon Asymmetric Wireless Controller also does not allow you to turn on the console or restart it from sleep mode even when it is connected with the cable. In fact, the USB cable can simply be used to recharge the Pad and cannot be used to connect it to the console so we will always need to have the Bluetooth receiver connected.
