With just over two months remaining until the release of EA FC 27, discussions have already started across social media. English striker Akinfenwa shared a video on TikTok that went viral within a few hours.
After seeing his in-game counterpart, which will be available with the release of the Hall Of FUT card in the popular Ultimate Team mode, the former Wycombe Wanderers striker asked for his body type to be revised ahead of the launch of EA FC 27.
In the video, Akinfenwa first shows a photo of himself from his playing days, highlighting the muscular build of his arms and legs, which are naturally very large. He then shows a screenshot of his in-game character, whose physique appears far less imposing.
The differences are indeed significant. The player’s in-game model looks noticeably slimmer than his real-life appearance. At the moment, EA has not responded to Akinfenwa’s request.
