One of the key milestones leading up to the release of EA Sports FC is the launch of the Closed Beta, and only a lucky few are selected by the Canadian developer to take part.

As is usually the case in August, Electronic Arts sends out codes granting access to the EA FC 27 Closed Beta via email, giving selected players the chance to try the new football simulation ahead of its official release.

The testing period typically begins within the first 10 days of August and runs until the first week of September.

To be eligible for selection and receive the email containing a Closed Beta code, you must allow the Canadian developer to send you marketing communications. To do this, visit your EA Account profile (this is the link). Once you’ve signed in, select Communication Preferences from the menu on the left. Then tick the box to receive information about products, news, events and promotions. Finally, set the contact frequency to “Any time.”

Next, under Favourite Games, simply select EA Sports FC from the list and choose your preferred platform. To complete the process, click Update.

Who Receives a Beta Invitation?

Due to the limited number of places available in the Closed Beta, not everyone will receive an email containing a code, and EA Advisors are unable to provide additional codes.

Your Beta code is for your personal use only and can only be redeemed on the EA Account that receives it. It cannot be transferred to another account or shared with other players.

Each code grants access to the Ultimate Team, Career, and Clubs game modes. Any progress made during the Beta will not carry over to the final version of the game.

Everyone who receives an invitation to the EA FC 27 Closed Beta will also gain access to a dedicated section of the official forum, where they can report any issues they encounter and discuss possible changes that could be made before the game’s official launch.
