There is now just over a month to go until the release of the new football simulator EA FC 27, and all fans who have pre-ordered the game will soon be able to start the pre-download on PlayStation and Xbox consoles.
Usually, the pre-download rollout arrives well in advance on Microsoft platforms compared to Sony‘s. Typically, the pre-download can already be carried out by the end of August on both Xbox Series X/S and Xbox One.
For owners of PS5 and PS4, however, the wait is a little longer. In fact, in recent years, Sony has made the pre-download available at the same time as the launch of the new Web App, which is scheduled for mid-September for EA FC 27.
Fans who have pre-ordered the Ultimate Plus version or the Ultimate version will be able to unlock the full version of EA FC 27 at midnight between September 17 and September 18, while those who have opted for the Standard version will have to wait until midnight between September 24 and September 25.
We expect the new installment to take up more than 70GB of storage on the consoles’ hard drives, so make sure you have enough available space and, if necessary, we recommend removing some of the installed games that you have not used for a long time.
As of today, the Canadian software company has released the Deep Dive presentations covering Gameplay, Career, the popular Ultimate Team mode, and the new The Grounds open world. In recent weeks, the official list of licensed leagues and all licensed cups that will be available at the launch of EA Sports FC 27 was also announced.

During July, Electronic Arts also released important information regarding the pre-order bonuses for all editions of the new football simulator, including the introduction of the Ultimate Plus version.
