The highly anticipated Festival of Football event is set to arrive in EA Sports FC 26 Ultimate Team, bringing a packed schedule of new campaigns, live items and customisable upgrades throughout the summer.
EA Sports is preparing a major content rollout between 5 June and 24 July, with multiple themed squads, dynamic player items and repeatable Evolutions expected to reshape the FUT 26 meta during the international football season.
Festival of Football Coming to EA FC 26 Ultimate Team
The Festival of Football promotion will introduce several new squads and recurring programmes into Ultimate Team over the coming weeks.
Among the confirmed teams and campaigns are:
- Festival of Football: Star Performers
- Festival of Football: National Pride
- Festival of Football: National Pride Champions
- Glory Hunters
According to the latest information shared online, many of the special cards released during the event will feature upgradeable PlayStyles and PlayStyle+ traits, similar to the mechanics previously seen during the popular FUT Birthday promotion.
This means players will likely be able to evolve selected items further, giving Ultimate Team managers more freedom when building competitive squads.

New Repeatable Evolutions Expected During the Promo
One of the most exciting additions appears to be a new set of repeatable Evolutions.
These Evolutions are expected to allow users to enhance eligible player cards multiple times based on their own squad requirements and play preferences. While full details have not yet been officially revealed, the feature could become one of the most important mechanics of the Festival of Football event.
Further information on upgrades, requirements and eligible cards is expected once the promotional teams enter packs in Ultimate Team.

EA Sports has also confirmed the full roadmap for the Festival of Football campaigns arriving in FUT 26 between June and July.
Path To Glory — 5 June to 19 June
The event begins with Path To Glory, featuring live player items linked to international performances. Cards are expected to receive upgrades based on how their national teams perform during the tournament period.
Greats of the Game — 19 June to 26 June
Greats of the Game will celebrate iconic football legends and introduce two new ICONS to Ultimate Team:
- Mario Kempes
- Roberto Rivellino
The campaign focuses on legendary players who helped define different eras of world football.
Glory Hunters — 26 June to 10 July
Glory Hunters is set to focus heavily on PlayStyle customisation, giving selected player items additional flexibility and tactical value inside Ultimate Team.
Phenoms — 10 July to 17 July
Phenoms will spotlight emerging talents, young stars and international debutants looking to make an impact on the global stage.
Summer Stars — 17 July to 24 July
The Festival of Football finale will celebrate the standout performers and biggest moments of the summer football calendar.
Additional Programmes Also Confirmed
Alongside the main campaigns, EA Sports is also expected to release recurring content drops throughout the event, including:

- Star Performers
- National Pride squads
These additional releases should provide regular squad-building opportunities, SBC content and live upgrades during the promotion cycle.
