In the meeting organized at the Lega Serie A headquarters, the presidents of the 20 clubs of the Italian top league unanimously decided to create a media company for the management of television and commercial rights.
This is an epochal turning point that could guarantee greater visibility and appeal of Italian football in the world.
If the media company had also mandated the management of the individual commercial rights of the 20 clubs (Partial or Total) there could also be a turning point with regard to the gaming world. In fact, if this hypothesis were to materialize, EA Sports could deal with a single interlocutor to acquire the rights of all the Serie A clubs, as has already been the case for years with the Premier League, LaLiga, Ligue 1 and Bundesliga.
In this way, the official licenses of Juventus and Roma could also be used again by the Canadian software house. We will then be able to see Badges, kits, and the real names of the two clubs in the official FIFA 22 roster.
In the coming months at the Lega Serie A headquarters there will be new meetings to formalize the agreements reached today and more details will certainly be disclosed in this regard.
